    You are bidding on a Japanese star and cherry blossom medal badge. Please take the time to carefully look at the photos as they're of the exact badge you're bidding on. This is likely a badge for a local war association of some type. It features silver star within dark green enamel with a cherry blossom (cherry blossoms were often used as a symbol by the military because they died at the height of their beauty) on top. It comes in its original box. This badge came in a large lot of medals that dated from the late 1800s through WW2 that I purchased while living in Japan 20 years ago.
